Two casualties had to be cut free from their cars following a crash near Archallagan plantation.
Police, fire and ambulance were called to the two-vehicle collision on Foxdale Road at about 2.30pm on Saturday.
There were no serious injuries, it is understood.
The road was shut for about four hours while police carried out an accident investigation.
Meanwhile, icy roads resulted in a series of crashes on Sunday morning.
The Ballamodha Straight and the Cooil Road were both closed for a time - and police warned drivers to avoid going out unless absolutely necessary.
Emergency services were called to a three-vehicle collision near Chibbanagh plantation and to a multi-vehicle crash on the Ballamodha Straight.
Police dealt with two other collisions the same morning.
