Two men were beaten up in an incident in Peel last night.

It happened after 10.30pm at the bus stop outside the commissioners’ officers on Derby Road.

Four men were involved.

Two received facial injuries.

Two men were subsequently arrested and have been bailed pending further investigations.

Police say there were a number of individuals in the area at the time who witnessed the incident and are appealing for those individuals to come forward to assist with the investigation.

CID have appealed for people not to speculate on social media.
