Vandals smashed windows and left broken bottles at a skate park in Castletown.

Castletown Town Commissioners are asking members of the public to get in touch with the police if they knew who was having a party at the Bull Ring in Poulsom Park off Victoria Road.

Windows on some machinery that was parked overnight as part of ongoing landscaping works were smashed and there was a ’significant amount’ of broken bottles found in the area, the local authority said.

It warns residents who are visiting the park today (Tuesday) to take care until the glass has been cleared.
