A 22-year-old visitor has pleaded guilty to production of heroin to the island.
James Shaun Lee Goulding was arrested at the Sea Terminal on June 16 as he got off a ferry from Liverpool.
He is jointly charged with Ann Marie Westwood.
We previously reported that Westwood was arrested getting off the same ferry and found to be concealing 64 grams of heroin internally.
She also pleaded guilty to a production charge.
Goulding’s charge also relates to the 64 grams which Westwood was concealing.
The drugs have been valued at between £8,000 and £16,000. Value of the drug is difficult to establish as it depends on how and what substances is later mixed with.
Goulding, of Perth Avenue, St Helen’s, Merseyside, was committed to the Court of General Gaol Delivery where he will be sentenced on a date to be decided.
Westwood, aged 43, of Hough Lane, Leyland, has already been committed to the higher court for sentencing on a date to be set.
Both are remanded in custody.
