Peel police are appealing for witnesses after a pickup failed to stop at the scene of a collision on Archallagan Road.

The incident, involving two vehicles, occurred sometime between 8pm and 8.30pm on Thursday.

A spokesman said: ’The vehicles collided as they tried to fit through the narrow road and to anyone observing, the collision may not have been obvious as one vehicle, a silver pickup type vehicle, did not stop.’
