Caroline Diane Kelly, of Urley Path, Anagh Coar, was sentenced to 200 hours of community service.
Kelly, aged 31, admitted assaulting a police officer, being drunk and disorderly, and disorderly behaviour on licensed premises.
The community service is a direct alternative to 16 weeks’ custody.
We previously reported how, on June 10 at 1.20am, police attended an incident outside the Outback bar.
Kelly was seen shouting and swearing loudly. She was calmed down by police and walked away but then decided to return and started swearing again.
As police took hold of her she punched one officer in the face causing his helmet to fly off on to the other side of the street.
Kelly was subsequently put on the ground and Pava spray was used to restrain her.
In a police interview later she said she had no recollection of the incident and admitted she had drunk too much.
A statement from a glass collector at the Outback said that while inside Kelly had grabbed him by the throat and punched him in the face during an altercation.
Kelly again told police she had no recollection of the incident.
Defence advocate Matthew Wilshaw said: ’She has no recollection of the incidents due to her alcohol intake.
’When shown footage from the police officer’s body cam she was upset with herself and referred to her behaviour as "disgusting".
Mr Wilshaw said: ’Ms Kelly asks you to treat it as out of character for her. Probation have assessed her as a low risk of reconviction.
’Alcohol is the key issue and she has taken steps. When she drinks things go bad for her.
’She wishes to apologise to the police officer and glass collector.’
Mr Wilshaw added that Kelly had sent a message through the police website and telephoned.
Kelly was banned from licensed premises for six months and ordered to pay compensation of £150 to the police officer and £100 to the glass collector.
Kelly must also pay £250 prosecution costs.
