Castle Rushen had a wintry feel to it on Saturday when the Snow Queen took up temporary residence in its ancient walls.
During her visit to the Castletown venue, Her Royal Snow Majesty received subjects in the chamber during the popular event that also saw winter-themed activities take place in a special snowflake workshop.
The day was sold out as was special session for under fives held yesterday (Wednesday).
l Manx National Heritage Christmas activities continue this weekend.
On Saturday at 3pm, Astronomer Howard Parkin will tell the Christmas star story and its link to the island at the Manx Museum.
