The Met Office’s weather forecast for the Isle of Man for New Year’s Day:

Dry and bright for the rest of the day, with good sunny spells. The moderate or fresh northwest winds will turn northerly and ease to become light, with the maximum temperature 8 Celsius.

Through this evening and tonight skies will remain clear, and with light winds a widespread slight frost will develop as temperatures fall close to zero. Then tomorrow will be dry with plenty of sunshine again.

Continuing settled and dry for the rest of the week and into the weekend, but becoming cloudier.
