A new book of Manx piano music by Madeline Kelly has been published by Culture Vannin.

In Isle of my Heart, accomplished pianist, teacher and composer, Madeline Kelly, has taken a selection of her favourite songs and melodies from the Isle of Man and incorporated them into a suite of original jazz-infused pieces for piano solo.

Well-loved themes such as Ellan Vannin, the Manx Fishermen’s Evening Hymn, The Pride of Purt-le-Murra and Arrane Oie Vie provide inspiration for this imaginative collection of six pieces which will be enjoyed by intermediate to advanced level pianists.

A premiere performance of the suite by Madeline Kelly will take place at Celtfest Isle of Man in St German’s Cathedral, Peel, during the afternoon of Saturday, July 15.
