A guided walk is to visit locations in Peel associated with the transatlantic slave trade.
People can learn how the island played a crucial role in supplying cargoes, ships, captains and mariners.
The meeting is on Saturday, September 25, at 2pm and begins at Weatherglass Corner, where East Quay meets the Promenade.
It finishes for refreshments at the Thie dy Vea Christian retreat house.
Walk is free but the organiser says voluntary donations to Thie dy Vea would be welcome.
