Successful home-grown thrash metal band Ignite the Sky are to play their last concert as a Manx band before moving to Manchester in order to progress their musical careers.

The group, featuring members Richard Kinrade, Luke Williams, Adam Elston-Lane, Leo Craig and Aaron West have been a constant presence on local stages over the past six years.

They won the first ever rock and pop band competition at the Guild in 2016.

The group formed after meeting through the Soundcheck youth music project, and have gone on to achieve considerable acclaim and success in underground music circles across the UK.

Their final Manx gig takes place at Amber bar, from 8pm, on Douglas Promenade, this Saturday.
