Weatherman Adrian Cowin is to talk at an event organised by environmentalists.

The island’s chief met officer will give a short presentation at the Isle of Man Climate Change Coalition’s second big gathering on Friday, January 25.

It takes place at the Manx Legion, Market Hill, Douglas, from 8pm.

After the presentation, Mr Cowin will answer questions from the audience.

Later ska band Buncha Skankers will perform.

Entry is by donation.

The coalition is a mix of local charities and organisations that have committed to work together to speak as one voice on the need for the Isle of Man to get to work on tackling climate change.
