The Castletown and District Over 60s Club is inviting people to afternoon tea on Friday, October 8, in Morton Hall from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Admission is £1.50p and includes tea or coffee along with a home-made scone.

The event is open to all, just turn up and pay at the door.

Club chairman Tony Brown said: ’Our afternoon tea events are very popular, and you do not have to be a cub member to attend the event.

’It is always a pleasant and relaxing afternoon, so we hope to see many people from our community, along with visitors joining us, where they can just relax, meet with their friends, or make new ones and enjoy a good chat and a bit of fun.’

There will be a raffle, a lucky numbers game, and cake stall.
