Ronaldsway Airport has been forced to shut because of today’s high winds.
Storm Barra has caused damage to the airport’s terminal roof, forcing the building’s closure.
The road in front of the terminal building has also been shut.
The airport will hopefully re-open tomorrow morning at 6.15am, subject to an assessment at 5am.
All flights had already been cancelled due to the wind conditions so the impact to the travelling public is low.
