The Eastern Civic Amenity Site on Middle River Industrial Estate will be closed on Saturday.

Douglas Council confirmed the decision was taken due to the high winds forecast as storm Dennis closes in on the island.

A decision will be made tomorrow as to whether the site will reopen on Sunday.
