The Met Office has issued another amber weather warning.
The forecast:
A cold start with some frost and ice in places, but a mostly dry morning.
The wind will gradually freshen from the southwest and cloud will thicken to give rain mid to late afternoon and early evening, then becoming dry again. Temperatures slowly rising to 7 or 8 Celsius.
Generally dry tonight and milder than of recent, with temperatures no lower than 5 Celsius in most places.
Fresh or strong west to southwest winds tomorrow with rain at times in the morning, then brighter for the afternoon with sunny intervals and just a few scattered showers. Top temperature about 7°C.
Further showers and sunny intervals on Thursday with stiff westerly slowly decreasing before veering northwest later. Temperatures 6 or 7°C at best.
