Police are investigating what they call a "serious incident" that took place between a male and a female at around 2am today.

It happened near the TT Stop cafe and public toilets close to Bushy’s tent on Loch Promenade, Douglas.

They are appealing for witnesses to contact police headquarters and speak to Detective Constable Lee Saunders in CID.
