Tickets for Arbory parish’s annual celebration - Laa Columb Killey - will be on sale on the afternoon of June 14 at the parish school and before the fancy dress is judged on the morning of the fair, on June 22.The usual method - selling tickets or asking for donations door to door - is difficult to sustain.
The cost is £2 an adult; afternoon tea is £5 for adults and £2 for children. There is no charge for pupils at the parish school. Ttickets will still be available on the day at the fair field. Exhibits including floral art, fruit, needlework and art - except for scarecrows, gardens and children’s submissions - must be brought to the exhibition tent between 8am and 12pm on the morning of the fair.
