The Steam Packet’s 8am sailing from Douglas to Liverpool has been cancelled.
The weather is too bad for the Manannan fast craft to venture out.
But this afternoon’s sailing should go ahead.
The weather forecast from the Met Office:
A poor day with periods of rain, heavy at times and the winds will increase during the morning to become strong to gale force from the west or northwest. Cold, the best temperature 8 or 9 Celsius.
Any remaining rain will clear away early tonight, with the winds steadily easing to become much lighter by dawn. Then most of tomorrow will be dry and bright with hazy sunshine, although during the evening thicker cloud may bring some light rain. Maximum temperature tomorrow 12 or 13 Celsius, with light winds.
Quiet weather through next week, and becoming a little warmer.
