Consumer watchdogs are warning the public about a chair that was for sale at B&Q.
More than 100 ’Shrewsbury Gravity Chairs" were sold at the island’s branch of the do-it-yourself giant.
The Isle of Man Office of Fair Trading says people who’ve bought one should to ’take care when putting this product into the recline position, taking note of the position of their fingers and keeping them away from moving parts located in the chair’s arms’.
Officers also reminded purchasers that the detachable cushion is not fire retardant and, therefore, should not be used indoors.
