A second community clean-up in Jurby will again be supported by FIM Capital Beach Buddies this weekend when residents of the village get together on Sunday morning for a repeat tidy-up of their hedgerows, streets and public areas.
On Sunday, August 5, Jurby Community Hall will be the meeting point for another clean-up of the local area, starting at 10.30am, with refreshments (not to be missed) afterwards in the hall. All equipment, such as litterpickers, gloves and bin bags, will be provided by FIM Capital Beach Buddies. And all Beach Buddies’ volunteers are warmly invited to take part in the event and to join in for refreshments afterwards. The forecast for the weekend is much better than the start of this week - a return to fine weather again (perhaps 22-24C).
