Today's Beach Buddies litter pick at Langness has been cancelled due to the weather.Volunteers will now return to Langness next weekend to remove marine litter from coves and beaches in the area.

It will be the first time Beach Buddies has visited the area for an organised beach cleaning session since the start of the bird nesting season in May, on one of the most sensitive areas for seabirds in the island.Yesterday, a small team of Beach Buddies collected about 2,000 items from the Calf in a six-hour session co-ordinated by Manx Wildlife Trust.
