Beach Buddies, the charity that removes litter from shorelines, has cancelled today's event.

The charity's truck has a puncture - it doesn't have the equipment to replace or repair it, so the beach cleaning event at Niarbyl is postponed for a week.

A spokesman said: 'Sorry for the very late notice - this has only just happened.'
