Tonight’s Steam Packet 7.45pm sailing is going ahead as scheduled.

Earlier today the company warned it might be disrupted because of stormy weather.

However, the return sailing from Heysham has been brought forward by 45 minutes to 1.30am. Passengers should check in by 12.45am.

Tomorrow’s daytime sailings are still in doubt.

A decision about them will be made by 7am.
