Better lighting in Peel town centre is one of the items on the local authority’s wish list.

The issue was raised last week.

Commissioner Hazel Hannan said that areas such as Michael Street were ’desperate for lighting’.

She highlighted that there are a number of ’nooks and crannies around Peel that need lighting’ in order to ensure the safety of residents.
