Ramsey Commissioners will recommend public sector rents go up by 2.5% in the 2020/21 financial year.

The rise, in line with inflation, would help decrease the deficit on the operation of the town’s 550 public sector properties. Members believe small, regular rent increases are easier for tenants than occasional large rises. The DoI is seeking the views of local housing authorities.
