The English tenor, Alfie Boe is to return to the island later this year.

Boe is best known for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables at London’s Queen’s Theatre and his singing partnership with Michael Ball.

He will play the Villa Marina on Tuesday, November 6 with his special guest Lauren Samuels who since competing on the BBC’s Over the Rainbow, has starred in numerous West End musicals, including Queen’s We Will Rock You and as Sandy in Grease.

Tickets for the show, ’An Evening with Alfie Boe’ will go on sale tomorrow morning (Friday, August 31) from 10am either from the Sea Terminal visitor centre, online at www.villagaiety.com or by calling the ticket hotline on 600555.

Boe announced on Twitter he is ’very pleased’ to be returning to the island having first performed at the Villa Marina in 2011.
