Pets at Home and the Greyhound Aid League charity joined forces to collect money for the charity during December.
They had a collection in the shop and also ran a raffle.
The League members were there too with dogs.
Sally Macmillan from the charity said: ’Lots of young geyhounds need rehoming because they are bred for racing and those that don’t make the grade are "disposed of", as are those which are too old or injured, etc, so they can no longer race.’
They raised a total of £910 from the events.
