Tribute act The Bootleg Beatles are to perform in Douglas tomorrow night.

The Beatles mimics will be at the TT VIP hospitality suite in Noble’s Park.

The Bootleg Beatles have headlined Glastonbury’s acoustic stage, supported Oasis at Earls Court and Knebworth and shared stages with David Bowie, Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, the Manic Street Preachers and Iggy Pop.

The Bootleg Beatles were formed from the original cast of London’s West End multi-media stage show ’Beatlemania’.

Their publicisits say that every very tiny detail is ’meticulously covered’ from costumes to authentic period instruments; from their ’ Liverpudlian banter to their ’inflection perfect’ vocal mimicry.

They also look like the original Fab Four.

The show features four distinct eras that encompass some of the most definitive moments in rock history and many of its most memorable songs - from the early days of Beatlemania via the final Shea Stadium appearance and the Sergeant Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour albums before culminating with the White Album, Abbey Road and the final rooftop appearance at Saville Row.

The latter era includes mini orchestral accompaniment to recreate the distinctive sound of the Sergeant Pepper period.

Tickets cost £40. Phone 640011.
