The Isle of Man Sport Coaches’ Forum heads west this weekend for its latest breakfast club session, hosted at Peel Golf Club.

The event tomorrow (Saturday) will be led by boxing coach John Cain and is open to island coaches across all sports.

Modern coaching practices and ’working with what you’ve got’ - achieving success whatever your facilities or funding - will be among John’s themes.

John has been instrumental in developing the Manx Amateur Boxing Club and has coached numerous boxers to Commonwealth Games standards, including Matthew Rennie who took the silver medal at the 2008 CW Youth Games in Pune, India in 2008.

Breakfast will be provided free of charge but spaces need to be reserved.
