Just Care Products has presented a pink wheelchair to the charity Isle of Man Breast Care.

The Douglas mobility equipment supplier said: ’We chose Isle of Man Breast Care as our charity as they provide practical support for those living with breast cancer in the community.

’Donating a wheelchair means that they can take people out and about who may otherwise not be able to venture out.

’Keeping people supported at home is the aim of Just Care Products, so Isle of Man Breast Care fitted well with us as a charity.’

Sharon Maddrell (chair) of Isle of Man Breast Care said: ’We are delighted and very grateful. The chair can be loaned to patients who struggle with mobility and extreme fatigue during their illness and treatments. And it’s pink! How good is that?’

Isle of Man Breast care is a breast cancer support group run by volunteers who have all had breast cancer themselves, founded in 1997.
