Developer Hartford Homes has received final planning approval for the development of 81 new homes in Ramsey.
Situated above Mooragh Park, and just a few hundred metres from the beach and promenade, the new development is an extension of Hartford’s Royal Park development.
The first phase, comprising 46 houses, was completed in 2010.
Royal Park Phase 2 will be made up of a mix of four and five bedroom detached homes.
Director James Greenhalgh said: ’The pricing of these properties will be designed to open up quality, spacious family living to more people than ever before and we’re looking forward to announcing the pricing structure once we have finalised all details in the very near future.
’The design and layout of the homes is based on what the public tell us they want. It is designed for modern lifestyles and offers great finishes.
’It will be similar to our recently completed major development in Colby, which sold 70 per cent off plan within two months of launching.’
Hartford is anticipating the development to be starting within the next six weeks and expects to see around 100 jobs created on the site during the build.
James added: ’For Ramsey, it’s yet another boost to the local economy in terms of construction jobs, new residents and importantly the attractive pricing of the new homes will help the second-hand market to flourish at lower levels.’
