Corporate and trust services provider Sentient will be attending this year’s European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) later this month.
Ten people work for Sentient International Limited from offices at the Jet Centre, Isle of Man airport.
The company was previously known as Intrust Manx.
But Paul Murtagh led a full management buy-out which culminated in a full re-branding as Sentient in January.
Excited to show off their new name and new look at this year’s event, the independently owned group of corporate service providers is also looking forward to telling people about their newly established offices and promoting some new services as part of their aviation proposition to both new and existing contacts in the industry.
EBACE will return to Geneva’s Palexpo from May 21 to 23.
The event, recognised as the annual meeting place for the European business aviation community, will once again bring together business leaders, government officials, manufacturers, service providers, charter/lease companies and all manner of people involved in nearly every aspect of business aviation.
Representing Sentient at this year’s event will be head of group business development Samantha Snow, together with Sentient’s head of marketing, Lesley-Anne Walker.
Mrs Walker said: ’EBACE provides a great networking platform for businesses and individuals involved in the aviation industry to meet and discuss everything aviation.
’While the industry continues to grow, it is important to remember that with it comes a continually evolving legislative and regulatory arena, which makes it ever more important to stay abreast of changes and new developments to ensure that an aircraft is being managed effectively whilst remaining compliant.’
As one of the longest established trust and corporate services providers in the Isle of Man, Sentient has a track record of 30 years providing bespoke international business ’solutions’ to a broad spectrum of international corporate and private clients, including the establishment and management of tailored ownership structures and associated services for luxury assets such as private jets and helicopters as well as private and commercial yachts.
Mrs Snow said: ’We assist owners and their advisors in understanding the diverse requirements associated with not just ownership, but the registration and operation of private and commercial aircraft.
’We look at how and where an aircraft is to be used in order to ascertain whether there are any tax or VAT exposures that need to be considered and evaluate whether there are any fiscal benefits or any opportunities to reduce any liabilities through tailored planning.’
With offices in the Isle of Man, Malta and Hong Kong, Sentient is located in financial centres which are also reputable aviation jurisdictions.
Mrs Snow said: ’Our international presence means that we can offer international aircraft registration.’
