Three associate directors have been appointed at the MAC Group.
The Athol Street, Douglas, based independent financial adviser says the promotions reflect the growth of the group and the recent acquisition of ‘Island Financial Solutions.’
Rebecca Netten and Ed Walter work for MAC Financial and Peter O’Donnell is with MAC Commercial.
Jon McGowan, group chief executive, said: ‘Peter, Rebecca and Ed are incredibly passionate about achieving the best possible client experience and outcome. Ensuring that our insurance and pension providers, together with the MAC team, deliver the highest standards of service.’
Mr O’Donnell has more than 20 years’ extensive experience in the general insurance industry, working in a variety of senior positions for global insurers. He has been at MAC working in the commercial arm of the company since 2013.
With more than 17 years experience in the finance sector, Mrs Netten has worked in both the Isle of Man and the UK.
She began her career at MAC in 2011 as a financial adviser, developing her knowledge and expertise working closely with MAC’s corporate and high net worth clients.
Having worked in the financial services industry for 29 years, Mr Walter joined MAC not long after Mrs Netten in 2012.
He has been able to apply to his wealth of experience working with both corporate and private clients and is continuing his commitment to professional development by working towards gaining chartered financial adviser status.
Nigel Gregg, group managing director, said: ‘The directors of the MAC Group have immense respect for our team and MAC has a reputation for delivering a service founded on the highest level of integrity and knowledge; our clients trust the advice we give.
‘This is down to both the company’s ethos and our team. Ed, Rebecca and Peter are the perfect representatives for this role and continue to inspire our employees with their attitude to uphold the reputation.
‘We are delighted to recognise this with their latest promotion.’
