Barclays Bank has temporarily closed its Castletown branch and will be closing its Ramsey branch next week because of the number of Covid-19 cases among its staff.
An email to customers on Friday afternoon read: ’Due to the quickly developing Covid-19 situation in the Isle of Man this is having an impact on our staff availability.
’We are very sorry but in addition to being unable to open our Castletown branch from today (Friday, July 16) this will also apply to our Ramsey branch from Monday, July 19 until further notice.
’We are very sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you. We will let you know as soon as we’re able to re-open both branches, which we hope will be very soon.
’Our branch in Douglas will remain open during weekdays and a reminder of its opening hours can be found below. If we need to make any changes to these we will let you know as soon as we can.’
