Adele Bohlen has been appointed as the new head of Barclays in the Isle of Man.
At the same time, Paul Savery, the head of Barclays in Jersey has added an additional new role as the bank’s head of crown dependencies, to bring together the leadership of Barclays across the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
The bank is nearing its 100 year anniversary of having a presence in all three islands.
Bohlen is also global head of the fiduciary business for Barclays Private Bank and has relocated from St Helier to the Douglas to take on the additional responsibilities.
She has more than 30 years of experience in the finance industry, gained across a number of client segments and disciplines both on and offshore, and has worked for Barclays for the past five years, leading the fiduciary business to service clients’ banking and investment needs.
Bohlen holds the step diploma in international trust management, is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments, and also holds a diploma in international anti money laundering.
Prior to joining Barclays she worked for the NatWest Group, where she held the positions of director and relationship management, Coutts in the Crown Dependencies and head of client experience for RBS International.
Bohlen lives with her partner and their pets.
