The Dandara Group picked up an industry honour for its work on the new Premier Inn hotel in the island.

The property developer was also recognised for its work on a three-bedroom three storey home at Oak Park in Peel.

In all the Dandara Group picked up 10 accolades at the 2019 UK Property Awards for new developments in the Isle of Man, Scotland and South East England.

The local homebuilder was presented with six highly coveted ’5-Star Awards’ and four ’Award Wins’, including two for Isle of Man developments at the high profile gala ceremony in London.

The event, which recognises high standards in architecture and design in projects across the British Isles, was held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel and attended by a number of Dandara representatives from across the Group.

The construction of the Premier Inn in Douglas was successful in the New Hotel Construction and Design category (North West Region), and the Larch, a three-bedroom three storey home at Oak Park in Peel, secured a win for Residential Property.

The UK Property Awards are the largest, most prestigious and widely-recognised property and real estate awards in the British Isles. Judged against strict criteria and assessed by a 70-strong expert panel of respected professionals from throughout the industry, they focus on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and commitment to sustainability.
