plan.com set out its ambitious growth plans for 2020 at a staff event, with new product development, technological innovation, a brand new office, and employee recognition and reward high on the agenda.

In a twist on the typical employee updates, the telecoms provider, last year named the fastest growing UK tech company by The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 and ranked seventh on the Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work, transformed an empty warehouse into a private theatre complete with DJ booth and bar for the after party.

Chief executive Dan Craddock took centre stage where he outlined the 12-month business plan in front of a big crowd, with a live videostream for those unable to attend in person.

Around 90 people work at the firm’s current base at IOMA House, Hope Street, Douglas, but the new offices will be at Celtic House, Victoria Street which is now being refurbished.

The move is pencilled in for 2020.

Plan.com has gone from strength to strength since partnering with network giant O2 in 2014, with sales increasing by 364% in the first three years.
