The folk at island garage Panelcraft have stepped up a gear with their bodyshop business.

They are cock-a-hoop after taking delivery of a paint brand known as Glasurit to use in the vehicle refinish bodyshop.

Panelcraft are now understood to be the only bodyshop with the approved paint for vehicle repairs on BMWs, Mercedes-Benz, VW, Audi, Porsche and most major motor manufacturers.

Tromode estate based Panelcraft has been run by Clint Hudson for more than 25 years.

Under his ownership, the business has achieved the British Kitemark Standard.

Clint said: ’Standards are very important to us.

’By installing Glasurit into our bodyshop, we can now offer an even higher quality service and range of vehicle refinishing.

’A repair is important to any vehicle owner, and using the approved paint and processes ensures we continue to provide a hassle-free, efficient service for customers - whether we are repairing a small scratch, an accident insurance repair or even full car resprays.’

Glasurit is a paint brand with stringent high standards for bodyshops to follow.

It is only installed into the very best vehicle repair facilities.

It is renowned in the vehicle repair industry for specialising in prestige vehicles and classic car restoration for more than 130 years.

The unveiling and installation of the new system was done by Trevor Munns, technical sales manager and Darren Barge, area sales manager for Glasurit.

Darren said: ’We are thrilled to have Panelcraft and Clint on board with Glasurit.

’Panelcraft has gone from strength to strength to become the premier bodyshop in the Isle of Man.
