Cains has launched a new brand and website which it claims better reflects the modern and dynamic culture and service offering of the firm.
Founded in 1899, Cains, based at Fort Anne, Douglas, is one of the longest established law firms in the island.
Cains’ marketing manager, Carrie Allen-Snell, explained that the new brand and website are the result of a number of months of collaboration between the firm and a creative branding and communications agency based in London.
She said: ’Early on in the process, we canvassed the views of our staff on both the firm’s brand and website and on the firm’s culture.
’The view of virtually everyone within the firm was that our brand and website were conservative and old fashioned and not reflective of our culture which was universally considered by staff to be modern, dynamic and approachable.
’We also gathered the views of some of our clients who backed the views of our staff and confirmed that our brand and website did not reflect the culture and service that they had experienced.
’We believe that we have a unique culture and way of doing business which sets us apart from other Isle of Man and offshore law firms and we are pleased that our new brand and website provide a truer reflection of who we are and what we do. Initial feedback from our clients has certainly been extremely positive.’
Managing director, Peter Clucas claimed the rebrand was ’our way of showcasing a true representation of who we are and what we do, which is distinct from other law firms’.
Mr Clucas said: ’It has been a six-month journey that has involved every member of staff, from business support right through to our directors and I feel the refreshed brand, messaging and new website better reflect the talent and vitality of those working in our business and our class leading service offering. It has certainly given the whole firm a sense of renewed pride, energy and purpose.’
This rebrand follows the launch in August of Cains Corporate Services Limited, a licensed TCSP (trust and corporate service provider), to provide clients with a ’one stop shop’ for integrated legal, regulatory and fiduciary services.
