Staff at one of Athol Street’s leading businesses are celebrating after scooping an award.

Wealth manager and stockbroker Ramsey Crookall has been awarded Best Wealth Manager of the Year 2019 for the North of England at a ceremony held at the Guildhall in London.

The award, which was heavily contested, was accepted by three representatives from the company including the chief executive Joanna Crookall.

The ceremony was attended by 300 people.

This was the latest in a string of awards which have previously included Wealth Manager of the Year, Compliance Professional of the Year and Life Time Achievement.

In 2018 Dean Whitty, senior investment manager, won the Most Promising Newcomer of the Year.

Joanna Crookall said: ’I am extremely proud to receive the award on behalf of the Ramsey Crookall team.

’The award is testament to their hard working and unswerving desire to provide excellent customer service, which is the cornerstone of our business’.

She added: ’We would not have won the award without the support of our clients and business partners.
