House and Home, formerly part of the Tynwald Mills complex, has gone into liquidation.
Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group acquired Tynwald Mills last month.
But House and Home, a separate company, was not part of the deal.
Nine staff who worked there were ordered off the premises and told not to return.
But then Edinburgh Woollen Mill Group stepped in to offer them all jobs.
The new owner of the complex said it had no role in, or notice of, the decision to send home the workers.
At a high court hearing on October 15, notice was given that House and Home (2011) Ltd be wound up.
David Craine of Brown Craine Associates and Gordon Wilson of CW Consulting were appointed joint liquidators and deemed official receivers.
As part of the court-appointed liquidation, any creditors are being asked to come forward with proof of debts.
Proof of debt forms can be obtained from CW Consulting, in Bank Chambers, Athol Street, Douglas.
These have to be submitted by November 20.
