A new Co-op store much delayed by the pandemic looks to be on track to open on schedule.
The new shop opens on Friday, September 10, in Crosby.
The exterior of the building was completed late last year by local firms. But UK contractors were needed to kit out the inside, which has led to delays for the project as a whole.
This work now appears to be nearing completion, on time for the opening date.
Located on the main road in Crosby, it will be the Co-op’s first new store in the island for 15 years.
Customers will also be able to order their goods online and then collect them from the premises.
