Two women who work for a fiduciary business in Ramsey are tasting success after studying hard.

Debbie Hill and Joy Holloway-Jones work for Charterhouse Lombard at Viking House, St Paul’s Square.

Mrs Hill has been with the Charterhouse Group for a number of years and over a year ago joined Charterhouse Lombard Limited.

She was born here in the island and grew up in Andreas, and went to school there and Ramsey Grammar School.

A spokesman said: ’Debbie has been a superb addition to the team and has brought her methodical working practices and personality to the team.’

She successfully completed the CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) qualification by the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). The spokesman said: ’This was made all the more impressive by her having two children under four and working full time, supported by her husband Justin.’

Miss Holloway-Jones has been studying too and passed her advanced certificate in AML/CFT (anti money laundering/countering the financing of terrorism), accredited by the International Compliance Association.

Her background had been in property up until a year ago but took a career change to regulatory compliance and anti money laundering.

Miss Holloway-Jones was born in Wigan and moved to the island as a six year old with her parents.

She was promoted to deputy MLRO (money laundering reporting officer) and continues in her role in the compliance team.

The spokesman said: ’Everyone at Charterhouse is proud of Debbie and Joy’s achievements.'

Charterhouse Lombard is one of the few independent and locally owned fiduciary service providers. Established in 1995, Charterhouse Lombard employs more than 25 staff, across its Isle of Man and Dubai Office.
