Moore Stephens is sponsoring the Isle of Man Art Society’s annual spring exhibition for the fourth successive year.
This popular exhibition is an opportunity for local artists to showcase their creative work to the people of the island and visitors.
Last year more than 400 works by 80 artists were exhibited.
The 2019 exhibition will be held at the St Ninian’s Lower School, Onchan and will be officially opened by the Lieutenant Governor Sir Richard Gozney, at an invitation-only preview evening on Thursday (April 11).
The exhibition will then be open to the public from Friday to Wednesday, April 17, daily from 10am to 5 pm with a late night opening until 8pm on Friday.
‘We’re delighted to be supporting the Isle of Man Art Society’s Spring Exhibition again this year,’ said Moore Stephens partner Andrew Dixon.
‘The quality of artwork produced by our local artists never ceases to amaze me; this exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for us to enjoy and get the chance to own art that has never been on public display before.’
The Isle of Man Art Society has been operating for 66 years, growing from just 28 members to over 300 art enthusiasts today.
While promoting established local artists, the society also encourages new members of all abilities to join the diverse interests shared by the society.
‘We are grateful and excited to have the support of Moore Stephens again this year, said Erica Kermode, Isle of Man Art Society chairman.
‘Their genuine enthusiasm and dedication to the local art scene makes their sponsorship a perfect fit.’
