Law practice M&P Legal has maintained its top ranking for employment law in the newly released client directory the Legal 500.
The firm is rated as ’at the top of the market for employment law advice in the Isle of Man’ with its labour law team praised for its ’professionalism and high level of knowledge’.
M&P Legal also maintains good rankings in other legal areas such as dispute resolution, corporate and commercial and private client trusts and tax.
Its litigation advocates who are highlighted are counsel Chris Brooks and director Damian Molyneux, both identified as dispute resolution ’next generation’ lawyers.
The firm’s joint managing director Chris Murphy maintains his impressive ranking in the corporate and commercial legal practice area and is also identified as an advocate recommended for private client trusts and tax, together with Chris Brooks, who is also recommended for employment law.
The Legal 500 further notes that M&P Legal has some very experienced consultants to call on in various legal sectors including personal injury claims.
Advocate John Aycock, joint managing director of M&P Legal, is identified in the employment category as an individual with Legal 500 Hall of Fame status which, according to the Legal 500, is granted to law firm partners who are at the pinnacle of the profession.
John Aycock, who has written numerous articles on employment law, said: ’We try to focus on our particular areas of work and do them very well.
’It is really pleasing that directories such as the Legal 500 recognise the expertise and experience of our advocates in their niche areas.
’Clients tend to look for lawyers who can quickly grasp what advice is needed and provide knowledgeable and high quality guidance on a prompt basis.
’These are the objectives our legal team always tries to achieve with the minimum of fuss.’
The Legal 500 ranks law firms and lawyers after gleaning feedback from clients and the legal profession itself and is an online resource for those seeking lawyers.
M&P Legal operates from courtside offices in Bucks Road, Douglas, and was the first law firm in the Isle of Man to incorporate as a limited company.
