Estera has also been in the news for winning three prizes for its brand management at a major industry awards ceremony.

The firm was presented ’Best Marketing and Business Development Team’, ’Best Rebranding Campaign’ and ’Brand of the Year’ accolades at the Citywealth Brand Management and Reputation Awards in London.

The Estera brand was launched in April 2016 following the management buyout of Appleby Fiduciary Business from the Appleby Group in December 2015.

The company’s new look was rolled out across 10 jurisdictions.

Estera now employs more than 470 people across the globe, including more than 50 at its Isle of Man office.

The Citywealth awards recognise the best examples of work by marketing teams that support business development and manage company reputation.

The winners were selected by an independent judging panel comprised of five senior level managers from prominent financial firms.

Estera Isle of Man managing director Sean Dowling has been included on Citywealth’s Leaders List 2017, alongside Estera chief executive officer Farah Ballands and Jersey-based group director Richard Prosser.

The Leaders List is a directory of the top private wealth management and private client industry professionals, accountants, family offices, private bankers, covering lawyers and trustees who deal with private clients with fortunes in excess of £20m and often up to several billion.

It is published after a year-long process of peer recommendation and verification.

Mr Dowling said: ’As Estera continues its journey towards growth and even greater success, it is inspiring to see the hard work carried out by our global team acknowledged and rewarded by a top industry body.
