As part of its ongoing plans to strengthen and expand its business, local corporate and trust services provider Intrust (Manx) Limited, has made another key appointment to their senior management team.

Samantha Snow, known as Sam, has been appointed as head of business development at the company based on the ground floor of the Jet Centre, Isle of Man Airport.

She will be responsible for heading the company’s business development strategy and initiatives across a diverse range of niche industry sectors, including yachting, aviation and fintech.

She will also lead the company’s multi-jurisdictional VAT work using her expertise in VAT and indirect tax matters.

Managing director, Paul Murtagh said: ‘Sam’s appointment further highlights our commitment to growing and developing our business.

‘Sam is well known within the industry as well as a number of key industry sectors; not only for the knowledge and experience she brings to the table, but for the relationships she builds with clients and intermediaries alike.

‘Sam will, without doubt, play an integral role in further promoting our business, strengthening our core service propositions and in developing new propositions in other exciting areas.’

Sam’s experience comes from working for a number of major organisations within Malta and the UK, including two of the Big four accountancy firms as well as HM Revenue & Customs.

More recently she worked for an international corporate and trust service provider, undertaking business development for the group and leading and managing their Malta operation.

Sam said: ‘I am very excited to be joining the team at Intrust. They appear to be a very dynamic and proactive business who are evidently recognised for their expertise in their field and regarded highly by clients for their attention to customer care and service.

‘I am looking forward to helping them grow the business in new and existing industry sectors, as well as building on their existing client portfolio.’

Sam will be attending this year’s Monaco Yacht Show together with other members of Team Intrust between September 24 and 29.
