Insurance broker, Rossborough Insurance (IOM) Limited has become the first sponsor of Peel Association Football Club’s (AFC) junior teams.
The club, which runs a number of sides at junior level for players from the age of five to 16, has agreed a three-year deal with the company.
Rossborough’s support will help provide kits and essential equipment for the junior teams, as well as general improvements at the football ground.
Rossborough will be promoted around Peel AFC’s Douglas Road ground and on its website, with highlights of senior matches available to view online.
Junior coaching co-ordinator, Sean Dickinson, said: ’Junior football in the Isle of Man is thriving, with so many people of all ages involved in one capacity or another.
’We are very lucky to have an extensive network of English Football Association trained coaches who look after 250 boys and girls every week of the season, in both coaching sessions and competitive matches.
’We are naturally thrilled that a name such as Rossborough Insurance has come on board and we look forward to developing a valued partnership with them in the years to come.’
Ann Collins, managing director of Rossborough Insurance (IOM), said: ’Peel AFC plays an integral part in the town and is based right at the heart of the western community.
’As a local, community broker we are delighted to be supporting the club’s junior teams and look forward to watching the players develop over the next three years. We will be cheering them on from the side-lines.’ Rossborough is based at Victory House, Prospect Hill, Douglas.
