The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) has released details of the second category in their 2017 Northern Awards, which will be held in Manchester on Thursday, November 9.

The CIM Northern Awards, now in its fourth year and sponsored by the Marketing Trust, celebrates the insight, creativity and success of the Northern marketing industry, the outstanding campaigns and the talent from across the North of England, including the Isle of Man.

There are 17 award categories, 13 of which are open to entries, and the evening event will once again be hosted by TV’s Andy Crane.

Diane Earles, network manager for CIM, said: ’We are thrilled to welcome back Sam Gregory, B2B managing director at Tangerine, to judge our B2B Campaign category.’

Sam has 20 years’ experience as a communications consultant to national and international businesses, helping them to develop creative strategies that transform brands and shape perceptions, thinking and behaviour.

In 2011 she joined Tangerine to launch its B2B division, which has since become one of the UK’s top B2B communications consultancies.

Sam will be looking for the best business to business communications campaign, that has delivered Return On Investment and demonstrated strategic and tactical thinking.

This category was won last year by Preston-based more2life for their ’Big Picture’ campaign.

A case study of their campaign can be found at http://regions.cim.co.uk/north/home/case-studies/

The B2B Campaign category is sponsored by The Juice Academy, a CIM Accredited Study Centre which offers the first ever industry-led social media apprenticeship.
